Laurie is a regulation analyst responsible for conducting pre-eminent research, analysis and training for Cornwall-Insight’s core activities across the energy market. His primary responsibilities involve interpreting market developments and producing written content for the Company’s energy spectrum service and regulation-based subscriptions.

Joining the team as system’s application support, Laurie helped conduct a cross-company review of our internal records and aided in the development and transition to a new CRM system. Laurie later joined the research team where he focused on international energy markets, green finance and electric vehicles.

At university, Laurie achieved a first-class MA (Hons) in International Relations and wrote his dissertation on the impact of technological trends on the global economy.
