Issue 696 | CMP264 and CMP265 Minded-to Decision

CMP264 Embedded Generation Triad Avoidance Standstill was brought forward by Scottish Power. The intent is to set the triad benefit to zero for any new embedded generators that connect after 30 June 2017. Scottish Power justify this change by stating that the current value of the triad benefit is much higher than the costs avoided by the transmission operators as a result of embedded generation and is leading to a distortion in the capacity marker auction.
