DECC publicationCommunity Energy Strategy: Full Report 29 January 2014 On 27 January DECC published its Community Energy Strategy. The strategy sets out an action plan proposing a number of solutions to overcome the barriers faced by community energy projects with evidence gathered from the Community Energy Call for Evidence that ran from June to August 2013. The modelling underpinning the strategy suggests that community energy projects could contribute up to 3GW by 2020, representing up to 1.4% of UK electricity demand.
