Ofgem consultationTackling Electricity Theft – The Way Forward 18 March 2014 Ofgem issued its final proposals and impact assessment to tackle electricity theft on 4 March. The regulator is proposing a number of complimentary measures to improve the detection, investigation and prevention of electricity theft. This includes a new electricity supply licence condition to strengthen the current obligations on suppliers. It intends to implement the new licence condition as soon as possible.
