DECC: Capacity MarketProvisional Auction Results: T-4 2014 Auction 19 December 2014 DECC published provisional results for the 2014 Capacity Market auction on 19 December. A total of 49.3GW of capacity has been procured at a clearing price of £19.4/kW/year (in 2012 money). The auction was for delivery of capacity in 2018-19 (T-4). Existing generating stations accounted for 80% (39.4GW) of all capacity, followed by 14% (7GW) from refurbishing plant. New build stations contributed 5% (2.6GW), including the 1.7GW Trafford CCGT Power Station being developed by Wainstones Energy.
