CUSC modification proposal––workgroup consultationCMP237 Response Energy Payment for Low Fuel Cost Generation 9 January 2015 This proposal, which was raised by National Grid in September, was issued for a workgroup consultation on 19 December. It seeks to change part of the payment methodology for mandatory frequency response for those generators that have low/no fuel cost. National Grid considers that the current methodology creates a barrier to competition for these generators.
