Budget 2015 18 March 2015 Chancellor George Osborne delivered the Budget 2015 on 18 March. It was the last Budget of the current Parliament. As expected, the chancellor confirmed a series of measures intended to boost the North Sea industry. These included a reduction in the Supplementary Charge, a cut in the Petroleum Revenue Tax, and the introduction of a new investment allowance. The chancellor further responded to calls from energy-intensives for further relief from rising energy costs.
