Competition and Markets AuthorityThe Provisional Findings of the Energy Market Investigation 7 July 2015 On 7 July, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) published the provisional findings and remedies from its investigation into the energy markets. As part of the investigation, the CMA was required to examine whether “any feature, or combination of features, of each relevant market prevents, restricts or distorts competition in connection with the supply or acquisition of any goods or services in the United Kingdom or a part of the United Kingdom”.
