Emergency Budget 2015 8 July 2015 Chancellor George Osborne delivered the Emergency Budget on 8 July.   Media sources had reported that the Budget would announce a review of renewables subsidies, and potentially provide further details on the Levy Control Framework into the next decade. This did not prove the case. Indeed, overall the Budget was very light on energy-related announcements.
