DECC ConsultationReview of Support for Anaerobic Digestion and Micro-Combined Heat and Power under the Feed-in Tariffs Scheme 3 June 2016 DECC issued a consultation on 26 May proposing a series of changes to the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) scheme for new anaerobic digestion (AD) and micro-combined heat and power (mCHP) installations. It proposes to reduce the generation tariffs for AD installations with capacities up to 500kW by around 27%. For AD plant greater than 500kW, DECC proposes to cut the generation tariff from 7.81p/kW to 0p/kW. These revised tariffs will only apply to new installations after 1 January 2017.
