CMA: Microbusinesses Order 2016 20 December 2016 1          Assessment and recommendation The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) issued its final Order on 14 December to support competition in the microbusiness market sector by improving price transparency and prohibiting restrictive automatic rollover contracts. The Order came into force on 15 December 2016, although some sections are delayed and come into force on 26 June 2017, and applies to all retail energy suppliers in the UK.
