Triggering of FiT Mutualisation, and Potential for RO Mutualisation 14 November 2018 Headline Assessment 1 Executive summary Ofgem announced on 13 November that it has triggered mutualisation for the Q318 (July to September) Feed-in Tariff (FiT) levelisation period. Ofgem said a shortfall of £4,171,702.49 has been established in the periodic levelisation fund, which is above the lower threshold to trigger mutualisation of £4,069,000.00. We estimate this will bring Q318 FiT costs up to ~£7.45/MWh from £7.39/MWh, meaning the additional impact on compliant suppliers is ~£0.07/MWh for Q318 FiT levelisation.
