UNC Panel Extraordinary Meeting 3 July 2020 Assessment Headlines The Panel recommended that Ofgem approve UNC727 Increasing the Storage Transmission Capacity Charge Discount to 80%, reflecting concerns that storage sites would not be competitive under the new charging regime without it. However, it did not recommend implementation of UNC728 Introduction of a Conditional Discount for Avoiding Inefficient Bypass of the NTS or any of its alternatives.
