The Energy Price Guarantee, a Path Through Stormy Seas?

Upon starting office on 6 September 2022, one of the first challenges for new UK Prime Minister Liz Truss was how to tackle the current high energy prices and their knock-on impacts for the cost of living and the cost of doing business. On 8 September 2022, the new Prime Minister announced a series of measures, as part of an Energy Price Guarantee, aimed at confronting this crisis.
