EDF Energy announce second price rise EDF Energy’s standard variable dual fuel direct debit tariff is to increase by 7.2% from 21 June, affecting around 1.5mn customers. The change was announced on Wednesday 12 April, with the price rise equating to 8.5% when factoring in an earlier price increase announced in December 2016.
