Energy supply and residential sector delivered largest emissions reductions in 2017 BEIS published its final UK greenhouse gas emissions statistics from 1990-2017 on Tuesday 5 February. The data revealed that overall emissions reduced by 3% from 2016 to 2017 with energy supply and the residential sector accounting for the biggest reductions, at 8% and 4% lower respectively.
