The Climate Change Committee (CCC) published its 2021 net zero progress report to Parliament, assessing how the UK is coming along with its 2050 target. The major change since the last progress report (June 2020) is that the government has accepted the CCC’s recommended emissions reduction pathway for the Sixth Carbon Budget.
