Ireland has fourth highest electricity prices in the EU: Eurostat

A report by Eurostat has revealed that Ireland had the fourth highest average household electricity prices in the EU during H1 2017 at €23.10 per 100kWh. Ireland was behind Denmark (€30.50), Germany (€30.50) and Belgium (€28), but above the EU average of €20.40. While Irish prices were relatively high, there was a slight year-on-year decrease of 0.6%.
