Public sector energy efficiency to improve 30% by 2020

A report published by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) on the energy efficiency of all public sector bodies in Ireland has shown that, since 2009, more than €1bn in energy savings has been made.  Under EU rules, Ireland’s public sector has an exemplary target of improving its energy efficiency by 33% by 2020.
