This week, MOSL published its 2021-24 Business Plan and its response to Ofwat's draft 2021-22 Forward Work Programme. MOSL supports Ofwat’s approach to forward planning and its focus on customer and environmental outcomes. MOSL also provided a series of market updates in its latest Market Focus report. Bournemouth Water Business, Cambridge Water Business, South Staffs Water Business and South West Water Business customers all rebranded as Source for Business. Northumbrian Water Group was named as world’s most ethical water company, while Severn Trent placed highly in a review on workplace gender balance. Yorkshire Water posted early results from its smart water network pilot in Sheffield, claiming 32% of all leakages come from just 1% of properties in the metered area. Excess heat recovered from the sewage treatment process could be used to power more than 2,000 homes thanks to a new partnership between Thames Water and Kingston Council. We also provide the register and impact assessment of all significant consultations currently open and of relevance to the UK water industry.
