Introducing the Irish Energy Markets
This new course for 2019 is essential for those new to Irish gas and electricity markets, or those requiring a refresh on how the sectors work. Irish energy markets are unique – there is a single electricity wholesale market across the island, yet different retail, regulatory and policy arrangements north and south. In addition, renewables penetration is among the highest anywhere in the world, and unusually for European markets, energy demand is expected to increase significantly over the coming decade.
Our one-day training session has been designed to enable attendees to an end-to-end overview of market structures, the role of key players and authorities, and trends in energy production and consumption. The session concludes with a look at the key challenges and opportunities that face the markets in the future.
Discounts are available for multiple bookings, please contact Vanessa at firstname.lastname@example.org to book this course or for more information.
