CfD Allocation Round 4: Key developer considerations

Price: £99(+VAT)

Presenters: James Brabben, Tom Charlesworth

Date: 10am-12pm Thursday 17 December

This webinar will provide developers and investors looking at CfD AR4 with a detailed overview of the key changes planned for the CfD scheme and how this may impact bidding considerations ahead of AR4 auctions. Focus will be given to key aspects such as the qualification and auction process, CfD contract milestones and contract obligations. Our experts will also provide real-world insight and examples from working on previous CfD projects as to how developers have reflected these aspects into their bidding and auction strategy and ultimately what has led to success in previous rounds.

The webinar will be lead by James Brabben, Cornwall Insight’s Wholesale Manager and our Associate Tom Charlesworth. James has extensive experience supporting generators through the CfD scheme and a detailed knowledge of CfD auction processes and the contract having previously been seconded to LCCC to support generators entering AR3. Tom has experience across a number of offshore wind projects, including NNG, Beatrice, Inch Cape and Dogger Bank, which have successfully navigated the CfD, focussing on areas such as bid pricing, OFTO regime and financing structures.
