Commercial implications of Ofgem electricity network charging reform webinar

Our experts will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, 20th February to discuss the latest developments from Ofgem’s review of electricity network charging arrangements and the impacts for network users. Specifically Cornwall Insight will detail the regulator’s Targeted Charging Review (TCR) Significant Code Review (SCR) decision issued in November 2019 and the resulting code modifications raised to alter the Connection and Use of System Code (CUSC) and Distribution Connection and Use of System Agreement (DCUSA) to implement the changes.

We will also set out the latest developments from the Network Access and Forward Looking Charges review, which is the other programme for change to reform network charges to provide pricing signals to users and adapt network access approaches as the system continues to evolved, and other outstanding issues that require resolution.

As with our previous webinar on Ofgem’s network charging reforms issued in June 2019, our experts will also present the impact on different market participants including transmission and distribution connected generators, storage (front of meter and behind the meter), and domestic and non-domestic consumers.
