Helping you make sense of the energy and water sectors

Recording | Corporate PPAs – Current and future commercial considerations

Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs) have become increasingly popular as renewables developers and larger corporates agree terms for the delivery of renewable power. Our experts will describe the range of generation, consumption, storage and ‘sleeving’ arrangements that encompass CPPAs and detail the reasons for why buyers and sellers may seek such an arrangement, including our insights on the scale of the buyer’s market.

We provide insights into the current GB CPPA landscape and put this in context with the scale of new and repowered renewables required to meet net zero targets—most of which will have to be called forward without any subsidy support. The webinar also covered how conditions for CPPAs may evolve as network connection and charging rules change and wholesale market drivers adapt to different fundamentals.

The session concluded with a Q&A session with our experts.

The lead presenter was James Brabben, an industry authority on renewables and generator routes to market.
