Maxim is an Energy Modelling and Market Consultant at Cornwall Insight Australia. He has nine years of experience in the energy industry, including four years in power plant operation and maintenance and five years’ experience in the Philippines electricity markets, starting as an energy trader and later as an analyst handling long and short-term PLEXOS models.

Maxim has been involved in building PLEXOS models for capacity planning to support future system RE generation mix targets and dispatch optimisation models for impoundment and pumped storage hydroelectric power plants and peaking gas power plants.
