In this online training session, we take a look at the future direction of the NEM including both the Integrated System Plan and Cornwall Insight’s view of the potential system infrastructure development and fuel mix. The future of the electricity system will be heavily defined by the policy and regulatory changes that are currently under consideration.
We will also analyse the rules and changes underway, and the likely future market considerations that may form part of the Energy Security Board post-2025 market design work. By better understanding the trajectory of change in the market, market participants can make better decisions today to ensure they are not left behind during the transition.
