Chart of the week | Imbalance Charges – A Look at More Marginal Pricing

In November 2018 the parameters for the electricity imbalance charges calculation is are due to change under the P305 modification to the BSC.

With less than five months to go until the changes take effect, we look at how system imbalance prices (SIP) are likely to evolve from November. Our chart of the week reflects on what imbalance prices could have been earlier this year if the change was already in place.
