Lengthy grid connection queues are one of the major challenges to the rollout of renewable energy in the UK, with a series of ongoing reforms from the Government, Ofgem and the National Energy System Operator to tackle it. In this episode of the Energy Essentials podcast, Dr. Matthew Chadwick (Lead Research Analyst) and David Stevenson (Lead Analyst) introduce CATOs and discuss how they fit into the wider grid connection reform programmes.
