Dan is the Chief Executive Officer at Cornwall Insight. He is an experienced leader in the business information sector, with a demonstrated history of launching and scaling information and consulting products and solutions. Steve Jennings
Steve is an experienced management consultant and advisor specialising in the energy and utilities industry. He joined the Board in 2021 having previously led PwC’s Energy & Utilities practice in the UK. He has spent his career in developing and delivering strategic advisory services to clients in the sector to help them navigate the challenges of market competition, regulatory change and more recently the transition to net zero.

Salman Khan
Salman, a partner at the firm, is directing the consulting and modelling team across global markets. Salman has expertise in free, liberal, competitive & unbundled electricity markets (the likes of which exist in central western Europe & USA) as well as vertically integrated utilities (the likes of which exist in Japan, China, middle east, Oceania & South Asia). As a leader in commercial due diligence space for energy transactions for the last 2 decades, Salman has expert skills vis-a-vis asset portfolio management, energy economics & decarbonization process areas.

Ben Hall
Ben leads the strategic development and collaboration of Cornwall Insight’s consulting workstreams, specialising in policy, regulation and market development. Ben undertook a BSC in Business Management and a Masters degree in International Economics at the University of East Anglia where he is now on the Advisory Board for the School of Environmental Science.

With a career spanning three decades in B2C and B2B media businesses—half of that within investor-backed, recurring revenue models—Tony brings deep experience in transforming data, publishing, and subscription businesses. His approach combines strategic, customer-centric thinking with creative technology platform design to unlock commercial growth and operational efficiency. A strong advocate for people-first innovation, he specialises in modernising legacy systems and building scalable, data-driven platforms that support business value and adaptability. An experienced HR professional, who has worked in various sectors, from the NHS to manufacturing and latterly leading HR teams in multinational organisations. She has a strong track record of improving employee engagement, managing change programmes and delivering effective HR strategies that support business goals. With expertise in employee relations, performance management, and reward strategy, she is passionate about creating a thriving workplace committed to our core values, purpose, and culture. Lisa Foley
Lisa is Principal Consultant at Cornwall Insight with over 12 years’ experience in the energy market. Prior to joining she worked as Head of Strategy and Regulatory Affairs at GridBeyond managing their market participation in Ireland and the UK.

Ed Reed
Ed is a long–standing member of the Cornwall Insight team and now heads our market-leading capacity building and upskilling training service. Ed joined the company in 2008 and plays a key role in continually developing and improving our training service, which builds on his experience of working in other areas of the business including the consultancy team, content publications and the regulatory unit.

Sarah Walker
Sarah has a background in electrical engineering and over 8 years’ techno-economic modelling experience. Before joining Cornwall Insight, Sarah worked for WSP, consulting for a range of international stakeholders from government utilities and international financiers to start-ups and private investors. She has specialised in market simulation, generation planning and dispatch, and renewable integration studies using PLEXOS and SDDP.

Tom Goswell
Tom is responsible for our insight on domestic and non-domestic supply markets, including commercial developments, regulatory updates and adjacent services such as electric vehicles. Tom has specialised in flexibility markets and network charging, and has helped develop business cases for some of the largest energy suppliers in the domestic and business electricity and gas markets.

Veronica Truman
Veronica is the Head of Content and Communications at Cornwall Insight. Veronica heads up the content team which produces the company’s flagship publication Energy Spectrum. While fascinated by all aspects of the energy market, she finds the potential impact of the new net zero target on end-users of particular interest.

Vicky Claxton
With over 10 years experience in the energy industry, Vicky has a background in regulation and supplier compliance, working with a wide range of market participants. Specifically, Vicky has an in depth knowledge and understanding of both the licence and industry code requirements that energy suppliers face to ensure they are operating within the rules as well as best practice.

Lucy Dolton
Lucy is the Assets and Infrastructure Manager at Cornwall Insight, having joined the company as an Analyst in 2019. She oversees the production of subscription reporting across the Low Carbon Generation and Flexibility markets. Lucy has a specialism in Low Carbon Generation, having previously led Cornwall Insight’s Renewables Obligation and Power Purchase Agreement reporting. She is the chair of Cornwall Insight’s Green Generators Group.

Adam Boorman
Adam is a Managing Consultant (Client Lead) at Cornwall Insight, with 10 years’ experience in the energy market. Adam leads Cornwall Insight’s work in investments, due diligence and strategy projects.

Robert Buckley
Robert’s role is to work with Cornwall Insight’s customers to ensure they get the most out of their relationship with the company. Including working as a strategic partner and advisor, ensuring that Cornwall Insight and its customers work together for mutual benefit. Robert has nearly 30 years of experience in consulting and advising participants in deregulated energy markets.

Vicky Haverson
Vicky leads the marketing team at Cornwall Insight and is responsible for overseeing all marketing communications and creating and implementing the marketing strategy. Key areas of work include managing Cornwall Insight’s website and social media channels, overseeing the production of marketing information, managing events and implementing marketing communication campaigns.

David Ellis
David joined Cornwall Insight as the Head of New Business bringing over a decade of experience in commercial leadership. He has worked for various organisations across international research, data & analytics and specialist information. David oversees the New Business function and customer engagement strategies & processes with a sole focus on driving significant and unrivalled value and knowledge to customers and the energy market.

Andrew Deacon
Andrew joined Cornwall Insight as the IT Manager in July 2021 bringing with him over 25 years of IT Industry experience. His role focuses on providing the correct IT tools necessary for business success across the entire Cornwall Insight IT Estate and works closely with our external IT partners to ensure important projects are delivered on time.

Tom Faulkner
Tom is responsible for our Market Intelligence outputs across a range of areas including Low Carbon Generation, Flexibility Markets, Third Party Charge forecasts and wholesale market pricing. He has a background in energy regulation and a deep understanding of electricity network charges and recent reforms.
