The ‘Renewables pipeline tracker service’ is part of our Low Carbon Generation service, and supports your understanding of the pipeline for new build and repowering renewables generation assets. The service is split into two key aspects, a database of all projects and an accompanying analysis report. Both parts of this service will provide you with detailed information on future renewable generation assets and give transparency to the market.
The service includes an accessible database of all tracked projects. The database covers vital metrics such as size, technology, location and anticipated network connection level, anticipated commissioning date, ownership and sponsors and routes to market and PPA decisions. It is updated quarterly to provide you with the latest project developments.
The searchable database provides subscribers with a wealth of information on projects and their current development status and activity. There are over 800 unique project entries for you to access.
As a part of the service subscription, you will receive an analysis report. This will highlight key developments and significant trends observed across the pipeline and give you the views of our experts. The report includes key case studies and technology focuses for each issue on aspects such as the Contract for Difference (CfD) eligible pipeline, offshore wind competition and trends for co-location of renewables.
The analysis report also provides you with a streamlined and concise summary of the pipeline, digesting the key information and presenting this in a clear and visual format to be used directly in your business. The information provided in both the database and the report will help inform your business planning and with making those vital business decisions at the right time.
