Our Contracts for Difference (CfD) Support Service is designed to provide detailed support to auction participants through the application and allocation round process.
As part of the service you will receive two workshops, one at the start of the allocation round outlining key details of the CfD scheme and key known elements of the upcoming Allocation Round (AR) from the draft allocation framework and the second once the budget and final parameters have been published to provide further insight and assist in determining bid price strategies.
Those taking the service will also receive a budget digest report providing key insights off the back of our analysis following announcement of the budget including an early view of the pipeline and potential auction scenarios. This will include a databook of our initial baseline position of competition within the AR. Using our Renewable Pipeline Tracker, which assesses all the renewable assets currently in the planning process, we provide an indication of the capacity of expected participants in the AR by technology. They will also receive a final budget digest report and databook providing further insight and analysis to assist in determining bid price strategies and an overview of the FAQs compiled since the first workshop.
