Ofgem workshop: Principles Based Regulation 3 February 2016 Headlines The regulator outlined the scope and objective of moving to Principles Based Regulation (PBR)––it is primarily focused on the domestic supply licence and it aims to compile a shorter more comprehensive rulebook that relies more on principles with an ultimate goal of improved customer protection and a more flexible, innovative retail market.
