Pixie Chart of the week | Record level of Corporate PPA activity in 2019

A record amount of renewable energy was purchased by companies in 2019 through Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs), Bloomberg New Energy Finance announced on 28 January. 19.5GW of deals in total were signed by over 100 companies, in 23 countries, 5.9GW more than in 2018 and as much volume as in the entire period 2009-2017.
